Some people just do not and will not ever know the true definition of friendship.. really saddens me to realize it so late in life. More than once, have I been deceived in a friendship yet i seem to somehow still crave to have that one girlfriend that i could always count on . the one that has no alterior motive to be my so called friend... But NOOOooope !!

My poor little sister had all four wisdom teeth pulled out 2 days before her birthday and was still sore today. Not to mention i have a sore throat, ear infection and massive headache. So this year we decided to take it easy. It actually felt nice to spend some quality family time.. playing loteria...(haha! hadn't played that in a long time!!) and a bar-b-q.. can't have a family gathering without a delicious bar-b-q... aaaaaahhh!! the sweeter things in life.

p.s. i lost cause of this biatch! lol!

Earthquake !!!

K so we planned to party hard in caracas .. Never imagined we would cause it to shake .. literally!!!!!! 6.4 scale earthquake as i was making pico de gallo and drinking mimosas ... poolside.. !!!!! .. one big boom and then everything shook and we just heard screaming and the water in the pool not to mention the ground moving !!!! Eeeeek!! thankfully .. everyone near us was ok including ourselves.. sooooo.. what do we do to shake off the nervousness!??? ... we start a survivors party with our fellow american airlines creeew!! that's whaaaats up!

Can't believe its been 8 years already since that tragic day where so many innocent lives were lost. i was lucky to be off from work relaxing when i started receiving calls to see if I was ok... At that very precise moment my then boyfriend was evacuating the world trade center and trying to save his own life.. he spent hours trying to communicate with me and so was I, because neither one of us knew if the other was ok.. and with no sucess for about 10 hours due to network failure.. phew .. thank God we were lucky. unfortunately, so many were not... just want to say how proud i am of all those couragous men and women fighting for our safety.. and most of all give props to flight attendants all over the world. We definitely put our lives on the line every time we set foot in those aluminum tubes. Tonight I leave with some wonderful flight attendants-friends and we will wear our wings upside down in honor of all those who passed on such a horrific day. you will never EVER be forgotten!

.....Cause when you do.. it goes to shit!.....

needed to get out of nicaragua and make a 1pm flight to miami for some fun in the sun on labor day.. and what happens?! ..plane breaks down.. needing a part that needs to be shipped in from panama.. we go to the hotel.. come back and the plane bringing the part is delayed .. part makes it in finally and guess what ! without much needed documentation.. so they decide they can fax paperwork and it should let us fly home.. i can still make the next flight to miami (crossing fingers) .. but NOPE! .. once part is installed and passengers are on board (except this drunk i refused to let get on =/.. ).. mechanics realize the paperwork is incorrect and the part is supposed to be on another aircraft.. flight is cancelled . Im in Nicaragua wishing my toes were in the water and my ass in the sand.. =( .... BOoooooo!!!
